Northumberland Country's Material Recovery Facility is situated in Grafton with close high way access optimally situated to service the 401 corridor. The main building is 55,000 sq ft. The processing line has undergone a number of upgrades including baler, fiber sorting screens, optical sorting technology, blower system, fiber line belt and more. The operating license currently allows for a daily receipt of of 350 tonnes of Blue Box material and daily residual waste export of 200 tonnes. The storage capacity is licensed at 850 tonnes on site.
